My 7-year-old daughter was requesting another American Girl Wellie Wisher doll, but specifically wanted a doll with hair she could style. I was looking for a 14 doll that would be compatible with the Wellies and I m so glad I found these new Glitter Girls. Battat really got the look and design right with their posable Glitter Girl collection. This doll is a Christmas present, so it hasn t been opened or played with yet. Her eyes are bright blue and the lashes are a nice touch. Her outfit seems well made with quality materials. One thing that surprised me was the darkness of her complexion. Her skin color is much darker in person than my daughters Wellies and Disney princess dolls. Its even more noticable with the blonde hair, green eyed Glitter Girl I bought my 4-year-old. It looks like they have tans and reminds me of my Malibu Barbie from childhood. Its not a deal breaker for me since I m mostly buying for the hair, but there is a clear difference between the Amazon photos and what I received. Overall, I m very happy with this purchase and can t wait to hear what my daughters think. I really like the price compared to spending 60 on a Wellie Wisher, and will definitely be purchasing more Glitter Girls and accessories in the future. 2020 UPDATE: My daughter LOVES this doll and plays with it daily. The Glitter Girl s hair is fun to style, and still in great shape after almost 2 years. With a wired doll brush and water spray we have NOT had a problem with hair coming out. The doll is easy to dress, which prevents damage to it s clothes and allows for more independent play. Some glitter has worn off of the shoes, but otherwise the outfit is still in good shape. The only thing missing is underwear. My daughter borrows the Wellie s underwear when dressing the doll in skirts and dresses. Underwear would be a nice addition or accessory pack in the future. Last Christmas we added the horses, stable and several outfits to our families GG collection. This year we will be getting 2 new dolls and some more outfits. I highly recommend Glitter Girls! I bought this doll for my daughter for Christmas. We also got her an American Girl Wellie Wisher doll. Both Dolls are cute. The quality of the Glitter Girls doll I feel is a little better though. The hair on the Glitter girls doll is much softer, shinier and more full. The Wellie Wisher doll we bought was Willa. Her hair is up in pigtails so the back of her hair in the center covers her head but is shorter than the rest of her hair. As little girls do my daughter wanted to take her hair out and put it up in a bun, but the short hair of the Wellie Wisher does not really work for that. The Glitter Girls doll hair though is perfect for doing whatever you would like with it and even when you take it down and brush it, it just bounces back to it s shape. I highly recommend this doll if you don t not want to spend the money on the American Doll.

My daughter s been wanting an AG doll for several months but didn t want to break out for one esp since she loses interest in items quickly. I found this doll that received great reviews thought why not.. she LOVES it I can say the doll is excellent quality has the best hair of any doll I ve ever seen. I m incrediably happy with the value of this purchase not only for the doll but also for the accessories I ve purchased to go with it! Don t hesitate because they re great quality.

I bought this for my daughter as a holiday gift and she is over the moon about it. She keeps telling me that it is her favorite gift, and for the value hands down a big win for this mama. She had originally asked for an American Girl Doll, which if you have looked into it are upwards of 150-300. I did not want to pay that much for a doll for a 5 year old. So I was very fortunate to find this doll. She has not even mentioned one word about the American Girl doll since she got this one. The best part is there is a whole collection of them and lots of accessories that you can purchase for other occasions as a gift. It is not quite as big as an American Girl Doll but not much smaller either so for my 5 year old it is a great fit. I would consider or at least taking a look at this collection before you shell out the money for an American Girl Doll especially if your little one is younger than 8 years old. The accessories are also priced reasonable. I purchased this doll, two horses and a ride outfit all for less than what I would have paid for one American Girl Doll, just to give you an idea. Don t get me wrong I don t have anything against American Girl Dolls but I think for the value this is definitely something to consider. SUPER HAPPY WITH GLITTER GIRL DOLLS my granddaughter wanted a doll that was a little older looking then her baby dolls and we looked at American girl products and felt they were way over priced ! These dolls were just beautiful my 6 year old granddaughter loves them lt;3 they came in there box and box had no plastic over front of the doll I m not sure if that s how most dolls come packaged

I bought this doll for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas, and she loves her. I didn t want to spend the money on an AG doll yet, but I wanted a similar type of doll. I don t know how they compare, but this doll is beautiful and feels like a quality toy. Her body is hard plastic, but her arms and legs are a softer squishier plastic. She feels sturdy, and her clothes are well made. The outfit she came with is cute, with nice fabrics used. I haven t noticed any snags, loose threads, or poor stitching. The shoes are not flimsy, and don t shed glitter everywhere either. Her hair is gorgeous, and brushes out beautifully with a wire brush. I also purchased a set of clothes on Amazon for her as well. Not brand name, but designed to fit Wellie Wishers and other 14 inch dolls, and they do fit the Glitter Girls doll just fine. She s a beautiful doll, and my daughter loves her. I m really happy with my purchase. Tl;dr- great quality doll for the price. Outfit is well made too. I think it s a great alternative to the more expensive dolls. She should fit in the AG Wellie Wishers clothes, or clothes made for that type of doll.

My 3 1 2 year old great granddaughter loved hers. It s hard to find a doll with very long brown hair vivid blue eyes like hers

Very pretty doll . She is a little bendable at the legs so you can pose her . My Daughter loves her. I also bought her accessories and they are also very pretty and of good quality . Very nice doll for price and good quality . A nice doll gift . Does not look cheap . She is smaller than an American girl doll but a perfect size doll to play with .

I got this for my Niece because it looks a lot like her or her mother. She loved it, its a pretty big doll compared even to a 7 8 year old depending on their size. In past I had gotten Barbies or other such that looked like or her mother. I also picked up an outfit set that had horses and such related because she likes horses. At her birthday because I could not get someone to get a horse for the doll. I am mostly going to pick up a horse to go with it. All and all it was great, just wish then had a monohorn for a horse buy. And if you don t know unicorns are a monohorn. They are clearly misnamed.

My daughter loves this doll. She wanted an American Doll but it was too priceyso we decided to see how this one looked and let me tell you we were surprised to see that for this price this doll looks amazing. No cheapy material at all. Arms and legs are made of a very soft silicone material for mobility while the body is made of hard plastic, the hair is so soft and long . I would definitely recommend this product.
