I am very impressed by this doll. She is very well made and the poses you can do are endless. I have to agree with the previous commenter about the cons and the pros.

She can wear standard barbie clothing and wears both heels and flats since her feet and ankles are articulated. Just know that if you want to put on a really short skirt you can see the seams towards her upper thigh where her legs twist inward and outward.

The one thing that I am not too happy about are the elbows and arms...the sealing at the joints seem a bit rushed, but if you put on a long sleeved shirt, you can't even see it. I think the more these dolls are produced, the quality will become better. But the doll does feel durable for both a child and an adult collector who likes to frequently pose the doll for play or photos.

I highly recommend this doll.

Okay, here goes nothing.

Pros:

1- Her hair is a thick, a nice length and doesn't have a messy layered v-cut like many barbies do (main reason I got the made to move Teressa). Her hair is waxy when you first get it but you can wash it out, I chose not to wash it now because when you twist her hair, hold on it for 10 seconds you get a very loose beautiful curl that's great for pictures.

2- Full obitsu like articulation.

3- Her head is very soft making head swaps easy if you choose to do so, but her face and hair is nice so I choose not to.

4- She has a unique and beautiful face

5- Her clothing is a nice stretchy material without Velcro.

Cons:

1- Some parts of her arm look slightly bumpy, probably a factory mistake, but it's not a huge problem for me.

2- DISCLAIMER: Nothing wrong with buff women; but this doll can look *disproportionately* slightly buff with a sleeveless top/dress.

3- Her hands and feet are slightly tanner than the rest of her body.

All in all she's a great deal and beautiful. I defiantly recommend her.

I love all of the Made To Move dolls! I have all of the "yoga top" girls, and I love this one's face very much. She has a sweet, eager expression and of course, the Made to Move articulation is the best! Mattel outdid themselves with the posing of these dolls. I cannot get enough of them! Her outfit is even cute, and the leggings can be used for so many outfits! The only thing is that her ankle joints are a bit floppy, so sometimes she has trouble standing. This is true of all the Made To Move dolls.

I've always had a certain dislike for Barbie. I thought maybe getting her out of her high-heeled poses would help, or putting her in poses where she's actually doing things I would consider fun or relatable. One thing I noticed finally, is that even this version still has stick-up-the-butt-itis - she can't slouch or bend at the waist - and maybe that's why she strikes me as being off-putting. She does bend just below her breasts, so she's able to move side to side and do backbends. But her torso still doesn't twist - she can turn her head, or twist with her legs, is all. Still, a great improvement on a doll for girls to play with.

Update: Decided to get her some friends, pets, and different clothes; and I'm feeling more comfortable with her now. Watching some videos on youtube showed me the diversity of the Fashionista line, and how people are upgrading those dolls with these Made to Move Barbie bodies. And I learned that Barbie is only one year older than I am. In that context, I'm feeling more like her journey is relatable and worth celebrating.

As a Barbie enthusiast, collector, and sometimes photographer, I think I can speak for the majority of the Barbie collecting community when I say that we have been waiting years for Mattel to release an amazing articulated body for Barbie. The price is so on point, especially considering that the doll has 22 points of articulation which opens up the opportunity for photographers out there to experiment further with their doll photography. The body is excellently built, sturdy, and feels like it can handle a good amount of play wear for the younger consumer.

Please Mattel, more dolls like this! I hated stiff Barbies as a kid and I hate them now for an adult.

This doll allows for a wide variety of posing/playtime adventures. Her outfit is simple and works great to layer with other clothing. This model is my favorite- her face is painted beautifully and the sculpt is pretty and natural.

The only critiques that I have are that the big ball joint on the ankle looks awkward if you put her in heels and I miss the under-chest area joint like that found in the Alvin Ailey dance troupe doll (my #1 favorite doll).

Regardless, this is a five star doll that is a definite step in the right direction for Mattel.

I just got this doll and I am instantly in love! The made to move line is by far the best barbie line that mattel has ever come out with. However after receiving my doll (the blonde with pink shirt) I realized that the arms did not work like they are suppose to. Her arms would bend to around a 90° angle, but then would stop and not be able to go back any further. After some careful pulling and twisting (and studying other people's photos) I got the arms to properly bend all of the way but for a while I was convinced I had a faulty doll. Though the arms work now posing with them is still very difficult as they are not keen on moving the way that they are made to. Other than the arms being incredibly stiff, the doll is wonderful!

I was iffy about getting this doll. I haven't bought a barbie since I was a kid, and every time I'd see her in stores I'd get change my mind. Her packaging (to me) doesn't show her potential, and after being prompted by a friend I finally gave in and ordered her.

Boy, was I surprised. She arrived quickly and after getting her out of the box I moved to comb her hair. This is the only problem I've had with her since she's arrived: strands of her hair fell out as I was combing through it. A couple more loose strands came free when I was dressing her. It isn't a big problem so it's easy enough to get over, and honestly with how amazing she is I'll get over it.

I LOVE this doll. I was worried posing her would be hard but it's actually quiet easy. Her joints aren't stiff but aren't loose. I love the small details - the dimples on her cheeks, the happy smile on her face and the pretty shade her hair is. She's amazing. Perfect for a child or a collector like myself. I'd recommend buying her in a heartbeat!

My daughter loves the fully posable options of this doll, her feet are flat so they will not fit in a heeled shoe. We both love that her face has more of a chiseled jaw, making her look very different from most Barbie dolls. However, 4 stars because while she is not sewn into her outfit like collectible Barbies sometimes are, her yoga outfit is very form fitting and tight to remove to change her into anything else. Not a deal breaker - just not ideal. Her hair was nice and smooth - none of that sticky wax in it that Mattel used to shape Barbies hair with just a couple years back.

I love the articulation of the Made-to-Move line, and wish I could give the Blue Top doll 5 stars (it probably merits 4.5 stars). My main issue with this doll is that it is quite a bit darker than the previous version, and certainly darker than it appears in the amazon photo. What I refer to does not have to do with my computer's screen. You will notice that that the shade of the hair and the skin is closer to each other than the amazon photo. She is extremely tan.
