I love these markers. I purchased them, in large part, due to the positive reviews of the 50-set. My comments are simple. These alcohol markers are quite good. One thing that I really like about them is that they do not streak. As expected for markers, they are really bright. There are no repeat colors, as my chart shows.

So far I'm very pleased with the markers and with Amazon!!! They got them here in a timely fashion.. and the markers of great with doing graffiti...

I love these! I'm an amateur. I tend to prefer paint to other media because of the control over colors and blending, but I wanted to try out media that would allow me to get works done faster. I bought these markers because they were cheaper than copics, and I wasn't sure if I would like markers enough to justify buying copics. They turned out to be pretty good. There are lots of colors. They allow for some layering, so I can add depth and shading to a piece and customize the colors a little. The carrying case is pretty handy, too! I'm attaching a picture of the second thing I made using them.

My only complaints are that they could use some lighter colors and a colorless blender. I ended up purchasing a prismacolor blender to use with mine. They also are pretty smelly, so I wouldn't use them in a confined space.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It's my first set of alcohol based markers. I wanted to try out this medium and see if it's what I been looking for and I love them! I use different mediums together so this is awesome. I gave them a four star because I bought the 88 count and wish they had more skin colors and lighter colors as well. They are very saturated so you have to make color swatches and wait till it dries to see what color they really are. They don't match the cap colors well so make swatches. Other than that great markers I'd buy them again if I needed to. Also they are not brush tip pens so be careful how you lay your tips on the paper.

That's my cautionary tale - but overall, I love these markers. I've never used markers as a medium before so I don't have much to compare to, but I've enjoyed my experience thus far. My only issue ended up being that the colors which looked like they would be good for skin tones ended up VERY orange. I wound up buying a set of copic ciao but since that was the only qualm I had, I'd say the buy was very good.

The colors are well saturated, though the caps are a little off so I would recommend swatching before using! Definitely worth the time and money.

I needed to buy a wide variety of markers for an art class and didn’t want to drop my nonexistent bank account on brand name markers. I made a swatch sheet per the other reviews and while they don’t match their caps/labels the color palette is saturated and wide. I haven’t doodled with them yet so can’t comment on their quality- but will review again during my semester.

I've used Le Plume Permanent markers and bought sets and individual Copic markers for my wife but have been curious about these cheaper brands for a while and finally decided to check one of them out. I went with the Shuttle Art set as I bought a set of their gel pens that I've been happy with. These pens seem just fine to me. If you like the brush style tip of other brands, you won't get it in these .50/pen types of versions as far as I can tell but the fine tip/bullet style tip is fine with me. The chisel side tip will give you coverage but I probably won't those sides much. Let's face it though, the price point of these at less than .50/pen is what these types of sets are about. I'd rather have 88 pens for about $40 rather than 8 of the name brand pens for that same $40. Or, you can get your favorite colors of the other brand and supplement with one of these giant sets. If interested, I did a youtube video on an unboxing and initial testing of the set on the "stampscapes" channel.

I had mixed feelings about purchasing these because of some of the reviews. However, I was not disappointed. For the price, they are a good marker. I had never used markers before and I did not want to layout a lot of money for a medium I might not like. Overall they work great. I don't think I am ready to give up pencils yet. The colors are bright and vibrant. All the markers worked both tips. I have nothing bad to say about them. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend these markers.

I’ve never used markers before and I’ve often been told to only use copic, but these work beautifully! I normally stick with digital art because supplies are expensive, but the price and the quality are awesome! I definitely recommend these to new and old artists on a budget.

The markers come in a nice zippered case for storage. All caps seemed to be tight on every marker which is a plus and should keep them juicy much longer. I believe this is a good set for a beginner who is looking to color.

There is a good variety of colors in this set making pallets easy to form. There is a big gap in blues however. There is not a muted blue. They are either very pastel, turquoise, or vivid blue. There really are not much in the way of skin tones either which can be a deal breaker for some. I personally have started buying sets of skin tones separately so to me this was not a huge deal. The last thing is a lack of grays. You have very basic grays. I believe 2 warm, 2 cool and a black. I do not find myself reaching for grays very often so this again was not a big deal for me.

All of the markers arrived juicy with plenty of ink. The barrells are easy to hold and comfortable in your hands. I would say that these are the best quality of casing I have seen on any budget friendly marker. The number and color names are clearly marked on the end of each cap. There is no numbering on the barrell, so be careful not to take both caps off of more than one marker at a time.

Over all, I am very happy with my purchase and would purchase again in the future.
