Purchased a pair of these flat free tires to replace my 8 year old Toro 42" Timsaver Zero Turn Mower front tires which had way too many flats! Got tired of constantly adding air to these old tires each mowing season! While I'm losing around an inch of diameter on these flat fee tires verses my old 4.10/ 3.50- 4 tires, I can easily compensate for tire diameter differences by adjusting mower deck height. Since my old tires used 3/4" od x 1/2" id x 4" long spacer bushings to secure the tires to the mower front end with 1/2" dia. x 5" long bolts, I ended up buying 2 similar bushings (old bushings worn too much) from Amazon which fitted perfectly inside the new marathon flat free tires. Looking forward to trying out these new tires this mowing season & will update this review if I have problems.

I too put these on my Toro Timecutter SS-4235 42" cut, which is 6 to 7 years old. The old tires were tubeless and are a REAL pain to fix when they would go flat. (Thanks-Toro) I checked out these tires on the manufacturer's web site and they were cheaper at Amazon, plus I have Prime which saved me $$$ on shipping. These flat free tires are a bit smaller but I too will simply make-up for this by just raising the deck. Install for me was pretty straight forward, I used the inner metal tube of the old tire and installed it in the new ones using a rubber mallet. I filled it with grease and installed-it. No more flat worries...

These are awesome! I use them on my 11' batwing mower. It has 10 of these sized tires and I was always having a flat. I didn't expect the bearings in these to last long since they are not full length pin bearings, but some have been on for 2 seasons now and that's better than most $70 land pride wheels lasted and these don't go flat! Will purchase more every time I need to. They have been a God Send!

I used these to replace the old tires on my front deck lawn mower. I could never get the old tires to hold air. These are a great upgrade. I can tell my mower turns easier because it is not fighting the front tires all the time.

Works great on my zero-turn

I have actually been looking at these wheels for about three years now (I found them originally at Northern Tool). I bought a 60" Northern Tool finish mower over four years ago and use these tires on that mower. The tires the mower originally shipped with didn't last past the first mowing and Northern Tool only listed the same OEM part for replacement at the time. I wasn't about to buy any of those, so I ended up buying some inexpensive solid wheels from Harbor Freight and making them work. They were only $5/wheel but they weren't really the right size, a little over half as wide and maybe half an inch smaller in diameter than the stock wheel. I ended up changing the axles and using bushings to make them work. Another problem with those wheels was that they didn't have grease fittings and consequently, would only last about one season before needing to be replaced (bearings would come apart eventually). So, I bought a dozen of them. Other than it being slightly frustrating to have to replace the wheels every year, they weren't really hard to change out and it actually only takes a few minutes to do so.

But, after I bought the dozen wheels, I found these Marathon wheels and regretted buying the others. So, I've been using the smaller wheels and waiting to run out of stock on those before purchasing the Marathons. I wore out my last set of the old wheels part way through the 2012 mowing season and ordered the Marathons. So far, I've only used them maybe a half dozen times but they have been great. If they hold up well, I expect to make this my preferred replacement wheel going forward.

These wheels/tires are well made and ride very nicely. I like the fact that they have grease fittings and I expect that with regular greasing, the bearings should hold out better than previous wheels I've used. Also, these wheels are almost exactly the same size as the stock wheels and consequently they seem to work better than the wheels I've been using. These were quite a bit more expensive but if they hold up well, the additional cost will be worth it.

UPDATE: I've been using these for two and a half mowing seasons now without any issues. I grease them regularly and they are holding up well. They don't seem to be wearing much at all yet, tires or bearings.

Great product, fit great on my 32" exmark

Worked good on mower sulky. Saved me money too.

Direct bolt in replacement for Toro Timecutter 3200. Perfect fit using stock axle bolts. No wobble or lateral play at all. No more flats! 5 min job!
