Nice light. It didn t come with instructions and description on here isn t 100 . there is a black slider switch and a white button. The white button turns on the center four and the black switch turns on the other 20. I read they are waterproof, They are NOT WATERPROOF. The top has the battery compartments and not sealed. I asked the seller about this. I clamped one to a fan stand and another on a picnic table using 1 1 34; PVC pipe. That s about the max these will fit on to. There are no lights to tell when the are charged or even charging, I just charged overnight. I drilled a 2 34; hole into a 8 34; pie pan to slide down the PVC to cover the light just in case it rained and I d forgot to bring them in. Under an umbrella, shouldn t be a problem as long as the umbrella is waterproof of course. Overall, I really like them.

Easy enough to use and install... might not be the only light you want outside, but at least it s directly under the umbrella.

The greatest thing about this umbrella light is its rechargeable and has two settings. I may have to get another for camping!
