Beeman Sportsman "Silver Kodiak X2" 10774GP Gas Ram Dual Caliber Air Rifle Combo with 4x32x 40mm

Impressive looking and functioning gas piston pellet rifle! The wood stock is beautiful, the mechanisms high quality and the scope is very decent and totally appropriate for use on this kind of pellet rifle(despite all the criticism these stock scopes get from all the 34;rifle scope experts 34; in these reviews). My only concern about buying a rifle with interchangeable barrels proved entirely unfounded. The barrels mount very securely. They have absolutely no play whatsoever. The rifles accuracy is effected in no way other than the fact that you will need to sight in each barrel separately. I ve used only the .22 barrel so far and may never mount the .177. The .22 barrel was really accurate right out of the box. I was hitting fifty cent sized groups a bit low and to the right of bulls eye. A couple adjustments later, I was dead on. Then I mounted the scope and zero d that in. These rifles get more accurate the more you use them so I m excited to see just how much better mine gets! From what I understand, Benjamin and a couple other air rifle makers also put out quality products but Im very happy that I went with this Beeman. Just a nice air rifle all the way around. Highly recommend! !

I have quality air rifles, RWS Diana models 34, 45, 48, Weinrauch HW77 and Webley Scott Tracker. The Beeman Kodiak rivals any of them for fit and finish. The finish is brushed nickel that looks like stainless steel. This is a quality air rifle, at 25 of the cost of The Diana M48 and 20 of the cost of the current Weinrauch HW97. Out of the box the sights were almost right on and the gun shot excellent groups. The gun takes a lot of muscle to cock, but not as much as I expected for a gun of such high power. I m 72 and I can handle it, but this is definitely not a gun for little girls. I like that cocking sets the safety. The open sights are nice hi-viz, green rear, red front tube. I can only find one downside and that s the trigger. It s a little heavy and has a lot of creep, but it will probably be better as it smoothes out. A gun this nice deserves a better scope though. Unless you like to spend 600 on a sporter air rifle, this is a must buy.

Delivery was on time by UPS the cardboard the stock end of the package was crushed. Styrofoam inside was also crushed fragmented but the stock was OK. The Styrofoam at the other end of the package, around the barrels, was cracked but all components were undamaged. The fit finish are very good. I removed styro-scraps, ran a brush through the barrels attached the .177 barrel for some break-in. I used Crossman premium grade lead wadcutters fired over a Caldwell Ballistic Precision cronograph using the fiber optic sights. The 1st shot 34; some excess lubricants and registered 1353 FPS. The next 50 rounds averaged 942.3 FPS. I mounted the scope to try some 8.5 grain Crossman lead-free gold. Although I had torqued the ring fasteners down firmly the scope slid back 1 2 inch after only 10 shots. I repositioned the mounts so the scope couldn t back through the rings without disassembling itself. The 8.5 gr pellets averaged 850 FPS. I ll update my review after a few hundred more rounds with some PBR the .22 barrel.

Beautiful quality rifle, very accurate and we ll made my only complaint is not with the gun. I ordered a new second one because the first had concealed damage like it was returned. Parts missing and scratches but Amazon boxed it and sent it to me anyway. No return goods QC apparently. Second one was great with no problems which was why I gave five stars for product only issue was amazon.

A great gun for the price and arrived pretty well sighted in for normal range shooting. I have not even mounter the scope and probably will not.

I already had a .177 pellet gun but wanted something a bit beefier and this combo .177 and .22 really fit the need. Simple to swap out the barrels wit a single set screw. The wood finish of the stock is remarkable and makes you feel like you are holding an expensive and custom made rifle. Everyone I have showed this to marvels at the quality of the stock. It is louder than I expected so I can t shoot it in my backyard and I did upgrade the scope to this one from Hammer: Hammers 3-9x40AO Magnum Spring Air Gun Rifle Scope with One Piece Mount. But overall it is great and a fantastic value of quality and literally 2 guns in one.

I love this rifle, Hits hard and its quiet. I use the .177 barrel and its not as accurate as the .22 out of the box but is very accurate when zeroed in, and is better than most .177 rifles that cost the same or more, it was everything I expected and more, was as accurate as a 275 rifle but a lot cheaper, only had it 2 days and already got a squirrel with it and haven t even put the scope on yet, would recommend to small game hunters
