Great locker. High price for thin metal and assembly takes quite awhile because there is over 100 nuts and bolts and for the price the nuts should be locking nuts!

Would have given 5 stars if it hadn?? t been bent up when I received it.

To short for some guns but still a solid value. As the other reviewer mentioned, the length of this cabinet doesn t lend itself to fitting all guns. If it were another 7 34; taller it would fit nearly everything in my safe. I went into the purchase knowing this and I wanted this still because I will be using it for shorter and less expensive firearms. Also, I wanted to mount it to the wall and the stackon types aren t as good for that as this cabinet is. quality of the metal used locking mech is pretty solid holding 12 long guns well made plastic barrel notches packaged well takes a while to assemble metric hardware small hardware (Might be an easy point of failure if broken into) screw heads protrude and make it look bad. (Should have used different screws that would sit more flat)

I agree with the other review about the smell of the rubber mat that comes with it. It really is a super strong smell. Think of moth balls, but about 3x stronger. Even when it was sitting in the box after I brought it in my house after about 10 minutes I could start to smell it and when I opened it, the smell stunk up the entire room. Like another poster, I threw it out and ordered another liner. It came with a warning that chemicals used could cause cancer........normally I laugh at those notices, but the smell was strong enough I d believe it. The actual locker itself is pretty great. The instructions really are a joke haha, but it s very simple. It s a lot more intimidating when you open it and see a huge bag of nuts bolts. Then you realize they re all the same size. It s kind of difficult to distinguish the top and bottom panel. The side panels look the same, but at least for me the holes didn t line up on both, so it s easy to distinguish which side is which.Getting the doors on the front is pretty easy, but kind of frustrating to get it lined up perfectly, because its pretty bulky. Overall though I like it a lot. It is an awkward bulky shape so it wouldn t be easy for someone to move. Add in a bunch of rifles and at least in my case a bunch of ammo..........that thing isn t going anywhere. No, it wouldn t protect anything in it from fire and yes if someone came prepared with tools to break it open it wouldn t take too long.........however if you live in an area you have professional thieves running around, I think you have other problems to worry about. EDIT: Also My AR-15 pistol has a 10.5 34; barrell on it and it doesn t reach the rifle rests. It s not a big deal at all, but just figured I would add that for anyone who might be interested.

Hung cabinet on wall. Very good quality and sturdy. You need to have patience when putting nuts and bolts together...I removed the center brace and then installed a Secureit Tactical Steel 12 gun kit to the back panel. Turned out great!

Awesome gun locker. I would give it 5 stars but I am going to throw out the barrel holders. I don t have enough lifetimes to screw all of those in given the lack of finger space to do so. I have really small hands so that should tell you how little room there is. While the instructions are not rocket assembly grade, it is easy to figure out how to put this together. Screw the 2 sides to the back. The two side pieces are the same and are stuck together so don t think you are missing a piece. Screw the top and bottom on. The bottom has the slot in the front. Then screw the door assembly on. Buy the magnetic barrel rests that amazon offers and stick them where the screw on ones go. You can buy two different lengths and use the 15 gun capacity easily. I am going to use some of the holes in the back for the barrel rests to secure this to the wall. Throw out the rubber stink mat and buy one of these instead. You get a choice of colors! https:

I was very excited to get and use this locker for my long guns. Instructions are non existent, rubber piece is overpowering with an industrial chemical smell. Looks awesome, works great.

I love this locker. It keeps my guns secured and my kids away from them.
