1911 Mag Pad 3 Pack for Colt Style Magazines - Black

It would be nice if these included some instructions about with drill bit to use. I got them installed but because the screws are self-tapping, I had to drill about three holes before I got the size right. (Start small and go up. You can t add metal back.) I also used loctite to get the screws good and snug. But they accomplish their job.

Excellent and inexpensive way to extend the length of your mags after adding a magwell to your pistol. Uses the two holes common, but not universal, in the base of the mag. Self-tapping screws make application easy. The shape is a bit unusual, but looks great on my 1911 Remington R-1 Enhanced with a new Kimber mainspring housing with magwell. Makes slamming in a new mag in during competition sure and easy, something that cannot be done without this base pad. If you want fast mag changes for whatever reason, this is the best product I ve yet found...for ease of application, value and looks. If your mags don t have pre-existing holes, it s easy enough to drill using one of the base pads as a template.

Added a Wilson combat mag well to my colt 1911....these mag pads worked great screwed into the bottom of the mags that came with holes pre drilled
