Shooting

The Monstrum Tactical Lockdown Scope Ring Series is our most rugged and heavy duty optic mounting system yet! The extra wide design - 1 inch in width with 6 torx locking screws per ring - provide for maximum lockdown and performance. Built to mount heavy duty optics and to withstand heavy duty rounds, the Monstrum Tactical Lockdown Series is guaranteed to hold zero against the heaviest of recoil!

1 inch in diameter, the rings are built for use with standard 1 inch scope tubes. The Picatinny base is compatible with all Picatinny mounting systems.

The torx locking screw system allows for quick yet powerful tightening while protecting from the screws from stripping.

The rings are crafted from lightweight 6061 grade aluminum, with a heavy duty steel mounting mechanism for extreme tolerance.

The high profile rings provide 1 inch of clearance - from the top of your rifle to bottom of your scope tube. They also include a see-through base that allows for simultaneous use of low profile iron sights. High profile rings are 2.9 ounces each in weight.

Very secure - nice build quality - would buy again (I d rather pay 25 more for made in USA though). I used these on my AR and needed clearance for a large scope to clear the front picatinny rail (Anderson Manufacturing RF85 upper) - it did the job nicely!

Cross bolts stripped on first install. Carefully torqued with proper tool, just plain crappy steel. I contacted them thru their website 2 weeks ago with no response. Granted this is now holiday season with lots of vacations being taken, but I would suggest that you do not fund theirs. Edit from 1 star to 4. Monstrum contacted me and seemed downright embarrassed that my email was missed lost. They promptly sent out a replacement set (that I mounted to check the the bolts would hold) that work just fine. I would hope that they never fail out of the gate, but once successfully installed they look nice are are solid.

for the price this scope rings are VERY nice. The 34;see through 34; holes aren t that great but to hold a burris scope on my dad AR these were perfect. We had to raise the scope height due to the sight window being to low when shooting. These rings we exactly what we needed.

Best rings for the buck, period. The extra high 30mm variants allow 1 34; of clearance for a 56mm objective lens on my Ruger Precision Rifle fitted with a 20 MOA canted base. Surprisingly true to round when lapped and have large contact surface area on the clamping surfaces. Great product for the price point.
