Comments / reviews:
I have another Barska 6X24X50 on a .223 I use for varmint hunting and it works well, but not as good as this one?? This particular scope went on a B-mag .17 WSM. I can say its a lot easier to find the "sweet spot" at maximum magnification and the power range dial is much smoother to operate compared to the other Barska I have. It also has a conventional cross hair, which I actually prefer.. Iv'e been shooting for 60 years and maybe it's a bit old school but some of the additional ranging and wind drift markers they seem to want to put on the newer stuff can become a bit distracting. I suppose since they are an economy scope that quality control is a little lacking, I have $600 Lupolds and the like that are great scopes..But the Barska scopes are a great deal for anyone looking for just a plain "shooter" Why put a $600 scope on a $300 rifle just to take out and beat up in the field??

This Barska 6.5x20 scope is great! I barreled a 722 Remington with a Green Mountain barrel left it 1 1/4" diameter, chambered it for 22-250 and took it shooting. The guys I shoot with shoot custom built barrels and actions, $1200.00 scopes and I am doing as well as they are. I even use Lee dies. But the Barka let's me see how I am doing without a spotting scope. Not only can I see the bullet holes, I can see the target without heavy crosshairs obscuring the view. I am buying another one for a 222 Remington I am building.

wow i cant belive how good this scope works.
i mounted it to my 10/22 and within 4 shots had it zeroed.
i was putting all 10 shots in a 1 inch square at 25 yards.
took it back tp 100 yrds and fine tuned the optics in zoom at 20x and front apature at 150
and i was still hitting in the 1 inch square and this is on a gun over 40yrs old
i am so impressed that im getting another for my deer rifle (30.06) cant wait to see how it does.

I cant get over the price on these scopes! It is by far one of the best scopes i have . I now own three of them. My first one i bought in 2005, my only issue with it was it let in to much light. So when i bought two more recently i added the shades to the shopping cart. At over a mile away i can read a licences plat on a car. Great scope!

Own three of these and will buy again great scope for the money...mine have taken beatings without incident still driving tacks a 250yds

This is a very nice scope for the money. My friends bust on me because I think the rule of spend as much on your optic as your rifle is BS. Mine functions very nicely. The AO, turrets, magnification, & focus all feel solid and work well.

Not sure why others say that this scope is unusable at higher magnifications... If you take your time when mounting this scope to get the eye relief set up just right the higher magnifications are definitely usable. Mine was only a few inches off hitting POA @ 50yrds when I mounted it. Very easy to sight in.

I have mine mounted on a 24" bull barrel AR-15 set up for long-ish range shooting. Good scope for the $$$.

Sometimes you have to ask yourself how clear does my target really need to be? AND, who am I trying to impress?

Hey there i em not the type of person to leave a comment about an item or even purchase anything online, that being sayd i really got to admit to having a great first online purchase experience and great choice ...

the good news: very well made scope by far the best scope ive layd hands on maintaince its zero ..and it is very very acurate .able to hit bottle caps from 100 yeard easy... And if a scope can stand to the recoil from a gamo air riffle , then its ok in my book.

Bad news: the only bad thing is that it comes with no mounts .and after 16 on the focus it gets a little blurry but i dont see how it would affect any if 15 is more than enough needed...

Well heres my review and hope itll help somebody...

Works great, have had it on my Ruger American Predator. 223 and it is crystal clear at 200 yards. Sighted in at 100 and 4 clicks it was on at 200. All groups were .75 MOA. Put it on my Marlin model 60 22lr perfect at 25, 35, 50, 75 and 100 yards with .5 moa groups. All power settings were clear, love this scope.

this scope is great i have it on a remington .22 pump right now but it will be going on a british .303 in the near future, it is very clear, the only problem i see with it, is when you zoom in from about 18x and up you loose about 90% of your eye relief there is only a tiny spot where you can hold your head and you can't move it much, but other than that its a great scope the AO works great, this is my first scope with AO and it toook me a while to get used to it when i would be looking at something close and then use the same power to look at something farther away you have to turn the AO to the approximate distance that you are lokoing and the scope clears up wonderfully. If your looking for a scope that has great magnification for a low dollar amount this is the scope for you.
