I love this guitar. So most guitar players you talk to will have a "beater" guitar. One that is for taking camping or to the beach. A guitar that you dont mind letting the kids thump on. That is what I bought this guitar for. A guitar that can get dings and scratches and you just slap a sticker over the problem and keep on trucking. I would be happy with this guitar if I paid $100. Its so worth the price its just silly really. It sounds great plays well and its super fun to play. I bought the black version. I play this thing way more than my nice guitars. It just sits around my livingroom and I pick it up all the time to noodle around. PROS: Sounds wonderful really. Way better than I expected. Finish was fine construction seems fine. CONS: Strings it comes with are trash. Slap a set of Elixrs on there and this little guy comes to life. The tuners have more slack than J.R. Dobbs but they do seem to stay in tune and not slip. There was one tiny buzz in the action but its very very minor and I have not even tried to adjust the action yet. The dressing on the frets is sloppy. I will probably hit the ends with a file on the next string change to smooth it a little. All in all, this thing is wonderful for the price. It makes a great knock around guitar or would be excellent for a first guitar to learn on.

Awesome little guitar. Kids for music lessons in the age range of 6-8 it's perfect for

Great guitar for me to take to work and for use in the car on road trips with the family. It projects well for such a small body. Holds tuning well, but you will tune it more often than some might like. It is about the size of a ukulele. Frets are only slightly smaller than a traditional guitar. Case is good, but not padded. You will see that the finish of the neck/fret board is not great. However, for a travel guitar that is under $100, its great! I am very happy with this purchase.

Pretty cool little guitar for the price.

This is a fun travel guitar. For experienced players the frets are a little close, but expected for the mini size.

Great for minions, not for mumions or dadnions.

Beautiful guitar. Needs better strings. I got burned a little because I didn’t check the size close enough. I was shooting for something a bit bigger, so I guess they weren’t kidding about “mini”. It’s my cousin’s Christmas present. She’ll love it.

Was a Christmas gift. Recipient was thrilled

This is a lovely 1/2 size guitar. It looks like a full size guitar... only to a smaller scale. I personally think it looks nicer in person than in the picture. It is just the right size for a young child (I would say 4-6 yrs). One of the strings did break upon first tuning, but this was because of the tendency to want to over-tune a little guitar an octave higher. Really, you can use regular guitar strings on it (make sure you mention to the guitar store that it is for children). It does require repeated tuning but at this point that could still be because it is new and the strings need to stretch or because kids tend to abuse guitars a little or play with the knobs to see what happens to the sound. This is a steel string, which may be a little unusual for young children but it doesn't seem to cause issues. The case is OK. It is adequate for giving to a child to carry. I heard people complaining that the case was cheap but I am not sure what type of case is expected. It has very slight padding and is made of some sort of thick plastic material. The case has a shoulder strap so that it can be carried sort of like a backpack. It is a great quality choice for a first steel string. It is not a toy. It is definitely a real guitar.

Nice small guitar, good tone.
