Could never get it to work -- connection to the PC (tried 2 different computers, both with Windows 10 installed) was unpredictable, and firmware installation failed every time. Finally gave up after 2 days of trying, because I'm not trusting my cryptocurrency to a device that is less than utterly reliable. Went with a Ledger Nano S instead.

UPDATE 7/27: Finally got it working by connecting to a USB 3.1 port directly on my motherboard (the computer's back panel) -- worked instantly and perfectly. The software is very polished, and the device is more straightforward to use than the Ledger (no apps!). I'll post another update after I've used it for some length of time.

UPDATE 8/1: I've now given the Trezor a thorough workout, and I have to say that I really love it. It's very easy to use, and it connects reliably every time (do NOT use a USB hub, as mentioned above -- the front panel of your computer may be using an internal hub, so if you have a desktop, use one of the USB ports on the rear: those are on the motherboard itself). Entering your pin is quick and easy on the touch screen, though big-fingered me sometimes hits the wrong number, because the screen is small. A nice security feature is that the device changes the positions of the numbers each time so that no one can guess your PIN by looking at the fingerprints on the screen, and so it's harder for people looking over your shoulder to guess what you're entering.

The wallet software is best run under Chrome, which supports WebUSB. It's very simple to use, and there's a clever integration with Dropbox to allow you to label your transactions and addresses if you desire. (You want this, I promise.) My only complaint about the wallet software is that it doesn't support Ethereum/Ether directly. The Trezor itself, does, but you have to use a different wallet software (MyEtherWallet) which is not nearly as simple as the Trezor folks make it sound. They are rumored to be working on adding Ether support to the Trezor Wallet software, but until then, I'm using my Ledger Nano S for Ethereum transactions.

When using a hardware wallet like the Trezor, you need to know you can recover access to your funds if something happens to the wallet (loss, theft, destruction, etc.). Before sending any money to my Trezor, I wiped it, then recreated it using the recovery seed that's generated when you first initialize the device. It worked perfectly. I bought a Billfodl to secure my recovery seed, and I'd highly recommend that or something similar to keep your own recovery seed safe. After all, if something happens to your wallet, you can recreate it using the recovery seed; but if you lose your recovery seed or someone steals it, your funds are gone.

tl;dr -- 5 star device, minus 1 star for no Ethereum support in the Trezor Wallet software

Trezor is open source and has the most competent team in the crypto hardware wallet game. Ledger is closed source and clueless. Read the security disclosures on where they talk about all the vulnerabilities that have ever affected Trezor devices and how they fixed them. No other hardware wallet company provides this kind of transparency. Trezor actively works with the security researchers who have hacked Trezor devices to quickly implement fixes and prevent future vulnerabilities.

Here’s the thing about the Trezor hacks though: if you use the Hidden Wallet feature where you can use a password with your wallet, also known as the 25th seed word, you are totally protected from any vulnerability that has ever affected Trezor (phishing attacks not included since that is entirely up to the user to detect and avoid).

Buy the Trezor Model T, not the Trezor One. Security is better with the touchscreen. DYOR but know that Trezor is the best choice. Purchase with confidence my friends, Trezor is the way to go.

This device has basically no additional utility over the original trezor. The screen is larger, so it is easier to verify things like signed messages and addresses, but that's about it. The touch screen is a gimmick and does not justify the price.

I love this little gem. Its easy to use. I feel like I have a piece of CIA equipment. Every vector has been thought of to break this device's security and its impossible to break it. This thing is Fort Knox. I also use the password utility to store all my important passwords. Bitcoin is safe. Passwords are safe. Im safe.

First off, let's talk about the touch screen. The annoying thing about the touch screen is the same as what other people have noted, you can easily fat finger the buttons. However, you get used to it so it's not a big deal.

If you follow the instructions it's pretty straight forward. However, make sure you check the list of coins on the website to ensure it supports the one you want. This list will also tell you how to access the wallets for each of the coins, such as through Trezor, Trezor Beta, MyCrypto, etc.

It was surprisingly smaller than it looked in the images and not that thick. It's about 2.5 in./6.5 cm. long, a little over 1 cm thick, and 1.5 in./4 cm wide, easily fitting in the palm of your hand.

Be careful not to lose it, and especially do not lose the seed codes. Without those you can't recover it.

All in all, it's neat and exciting to use this. You can even use it to generate a QR code others can scan.

This is the only way to protect your crypto currency holdings. Anything else, and you are entrusting your holdings toa third party and subject it to vastly more hacking predators. I have to use Firefox browser for the web site. No big deal. I have Safari open at the same time and I can move funds and currency back and forth between account sites. Get it. Practice. and in no time you will have your own process.

1st Review. After working with the Trezor, I determined that this product is terrible. First, the “C” input does not fit correctly. It’s too flimsy and slides out too easily. I got so nervous that I pulled all my coins out of the Trezor. I purchased a new “C” cable from Amazon and it was even worse. I can’t trust a device like this that holds my crypto currency that I have trouble connecting into.

2nd Review. I purchased a new C cable from Amazon that snaps right into the Trezor. After working with the Trezor for several months, I believe that it’s actually better than the Nano and was developed for future expansion and greater security but the device is more expensive too. I trust that I can keep my crypto currency on it without any issues. I just had to learn how to use it. I do recommend this device but you may need tp purchase a longer C cable and ensure that the cable fits properly in the Trezor. The cable provided probably will but mine didn’t.

I waited to purchase this new version of the Trezor. Love the big screen. Works great!!

Only drawback is the limited number of cryptos supported. I believe more will be added in the future.

Arrived clean in sealed packaging. Hologram sticker was in tact covering the USB port. Super easy to setup and touch screen is surprisingly responsive. is all you need!

I almost returned it because I plugged the cord in gently as I'm used to doing and it lit up but wouldn't work. After numerous attempts, I found buried deep in the user manual that you should push the cord hard until it clicks. Voila! I at last had something to try to recover my account after I discovered my original Trezor was lost. I started to enter my 24 seed words and found my finger was too big, and a mistake would cause it to lock up, and I would have to unplug it and start over. After about five restarts, I finally got all 24 words entered. Magically my account appeared intact much to my relief as that was the first time I had ever tried to recover an account. It's a big improvement over the old one once you learn to use it.
