I am giving this product a one out of five due to perceive false advertisement. No matter how much I format this device and it always give a full 32 gigabyte versus the 64 gigabyte it was manufacture as. Either I get response from the seller or I am refunded this product. I paid for what I have asked and I expected both the manufacture and the seller to hold there end of the bargain.

I have attached a picture and the Drive letter for this device is G; as you can see I am getting a 32 gigabyte not the 64 gigabyte as advertise!

Update: I just received my replace and it is showing the correct space amount. I am guessing the previous thumb drive, it fell through the crack of quality assurance department. So I am changing the 1 out of 5 to 5 out of 5.

These are perfect for saving Windows 10 Restore/Start Up files, which need a minimum of 8GB.
I figured, for the money, these 16GB are a pretty good value...they're over the size, but other important files could be stored as well.
I just keep this in a safe place for each computer.
Thankfully, I haven't needed to use any of them yet since Windows 10 (August 2016 and later) works great with no major problems thus far.

Great flash drive, transfers data very fast via USB 3.0 ports

Pros:
- Extremely light
- Visually appealing
- End piece slides back and forth to hide/reveal USB connector
- Seems very sturdy compared to most flash drives on the market

Cons:
- Comes formatted as a FAT32 drive, limiting you to transferring files 4GBs or smaller. Support of larger files requires that you reformat it as a NTFS drive. Not a huge issue as this takes only seconds to do yourself within Windows (not enough to dock a star).

I got this guy as a back up to a must more expensive Kingston I got a while ago ( yes i have like 4 thumb drives/ dropbox/ google drive all to back up work and school research/ etc) This unit works great for most user, the only knock on the unit is not that important but needs to be said, its read and write speeds are slower then the more expensive Kingston thumb drives. However again most people will be ok with the slower drive as long as its not used for something like a media server stick ie play movies in HD off of. in saying that i really have not had a problem with speed for any of my uses including as a media stick.

Pros: Price, name brand, would buy again

Cons: read/write speeds ( not a problem for most users)

Holds a lot of data, well maybe not by today's standards, but more than enough to make transfering data from one PC to another a lot easier. Have had no problems with this. I have used Kingston memeory and USB drives for years now and they are a trusted brand for me.

I recently built my new gaming computer and needed a way to install a new copy of windows. The price is unbelievable for the amount of space you get, it looks amazing, very small, easy to carry around. and the speeds are great.

I was able to do the windows usb install very quickly. Trust Kingston and get this product while it lasts.

For 9 dollars, it's a decent buy.

Crystal mark shows on my laptop's usb 3.0 port (Intel USB) a read rate of 109 MB/s and 10.75 MB/s

Real world data transfer of a 13 gig virtual disk file however shows a fairly sustained 10 megabytes copy rate to the drive and a disappointing 76 meg/sec copy rate from the drive back to the SSD C drive on my laptop.

I didn't buy this for speed though. I bought it because it's 16 gigs for 9 dollars and for that, I can't really fault it. I wish the actual use read speeds matched that of the synthetic benchmark.

My thoughts: Item looks like images posted and fits sellers description. I purchased this to do a systems backup for my new laptop. It works great. The casing is sleek and looks high end. It fit perfectly and functioned well. It is small and easy to store. I like the sliding cap design very much. It helps protect it very well. Mine worked great and I didn't find it that slow. The whole backup was done pretty fast, of course I didn't time it, but It didn't take very long. I personally am very pleased with it and found fr what I needed it fr it worked great! That is all I will be using it for too though.

Stated by seller: Compliant - with USB 3.0 specifications
Dual Compatibility - USB 3.0 connectivity; backward compatible to USB 2.0
Stylish - black-on-black, sliding cap design
Ideal USB 3.0 starter storage device
Guaranteed - five-year warranty, free technical support

I see a lot of complaints here about how slow this stick is. For me on my USB 2.0 desktop machines and TV's, its plenty fast and just as fast as the others in read mode. It's really small size and flip/click open/close with no end cap is a real bonus on this. The lettering on it does not stand out either like on other Kingston sticks. I like how it cannot really be seen on the side panel on my Samsung HD TV. I also find those usb external hard drives go bad quick and now use this stick also as a 64GB external hard drive. Gonna buy more!

I use this little guy as a bootable Windows 10 recovery and it was very easy to do so! There weren't any hidden partitions, the USB 3.0 speeds work as advertised, and there's no cap to lose which makes my life marginally less stressful. I bought a second one to make a bootable Ubuntu image and sure enough, it did it with ease. A very nice flash drive.
