I knew I had made a good choice as soon as the packaging arrived. Havit evidently likes to add some class to their packages. The product itself works as expected, with breathing multicolored lights. You cannot choose a specific light, but this is what I had intended anyway. When you change DPI settings (which works like a charm) it will briefly flash a specific color, which I thought was an interesting feature. The USB cable itself is sufficiently long for most setups (though perhaps too long for laptop usage). The mouse is fairly large, larger than my previous gaming mouse, but I am 6'4" with decently large hands.
I do have a complaint, however. The forward/back side buttons seem to be the reverse of the usual. In most mice I have used, "back" is the button further towards the back of the mouse and the opposite for "forward". Normally, I would suggest updating drivers, but this does not help. The "Plug and Play" software utilizes generic drivers which seem to point differently for this mouse than others. It took some getting used to when browsing.
Apart from this, I enjoyed the product. I recommend it for purchase.

Love it and looks and feels like a expensive mouse works great too

I bought this mouse two months ago and it's Awesome! you can feel the diference between the 4 DPI levels 800/1200/1600/2400 I usually work in 1600 DPI, it is really good for programs like Autocad, Illustrator, Photoshop, Revit, 3ds max and Sketchup. I work in Architecture Field but also have a little passion for video games and video producing and this mouse runs well in all these programs.

This mouse fits almost every activity i develop in my day, the ergonomic design is really good, it fits very well in my hand (my hands are kinda big 19 cms from the base to the top of my middle finger) so even if you are using it for gaming, design or work its a good option.

the cord is really resistant, its kinda fabric material and its 160 cms long.

you can't select a single led color but the 7 led colors are really great to watch. (they're not distracting) its a really good option to work on dark rooms becouse you will never loose your mouse.

the side buttons are not programable but they're really well on your internet browsers, file explorers and some other apps from windows and Mac. (just few ones)

THE CONS:

The USB adapter is kinda big 6.5 cms to be exact and 5.2 cms when its plugged in.

its a really good option to buy for less than $10.00 dollars highly recomend.

I needed to grab a few mice for a little testbench setup I'm running for work. This is a ~$9 mouse that fit the bill nicely for me (high DPI, cheap), and is surprisingly decent at it's job considering it's outlandish looks and budget price tag.

I don't play video games, so I can't vouch for the accuracy and speed with which the DPI adjustments do their thing. I can say, at a relative medium setting, the mouse has nice on-screen action and is more than suitable for programming/testing needs where there's a lot of scrolling and clicking. I'm totally pleased with the purchase and have grabbed a couple of these for various machines/uses around the home. If you're looking for a good off-brand experience, place the order.

I will say the paint/decoration will fade over time, but it took a lot longer than I had originally expected, so points there as well.

Thanks for reading!

Love it!!! it looks amazing is my desk. Also it was here on time.

I've had this mouse for a few months now, and can safely say that it's mostly a good mouse and worth the price (I paid around $17). There are 4 pre-set sensitivity levels that are easy to select from the small rectangular button below the wheel. The slowest is okay, the next faster is perfect, then #3 and #4 zip around the screen way too fast for me. I'm not a PC gamer, just an ordinary web surfer & email writer. The wheel is rubber coated and responsive. The default color fade & change is pleasant, as are the colors themselves. It looks JUST like the pictures. I have large hands, and my pinkie hangs a little off when using my index and middle fingers on the top; it still works just fine. If I put my index (pointer) finger on mouse button #1, the middle finger over the wheel, and the ring finger over mouse button #2, it's a perfect fit. There are 2 buttons fore & aft of my thumb, but I don't know what they do; I think they move the web browser pages forwards & backwards, but I haven't fiddled with them. I am overall pretty happy with this mouse.

End of day 1 with this mouse, I really enjoy it.

I picked it up for $7.99, and for that price you just can't beat it. I was previously using another mouse that retailed for ~$50, and this one works just as well, it not better. The "breathing" led's are nice ambience, the DPI switch is easily accessible, but not easy to accidentally hit, and since it's a larger mouser it fits in my palm much better than most. The click actions are smooth and fast, and the scroll wheel has notable stops without being loud and clicky. The braided cord seems to be good quality, and I expect it will last some time.
Some have complained about the extra large USB plug, this shouldn't really cause any issues for you unless your'e working with a tight space. I've had it plugged directly to my laptop, desktop, and currently my monitor with no noticeable issues.

Even if this mouse breaks in 6 months I feel like I still will have gotten my moneys worth from it, and I may just buy a second to keep in the box in case it does ever go out.

Ive been buying and testing many cheap gaming mice and this is one of the best I have encountered. I have a bigger hand and this mouse is very comfortable if you like to rest your hand on top of the mouse spread out. The quality of this mouse seems very good even though it feels a little plasticy. This mouse is a little bit light for my taste but I don't even notice the weight when I'm in a game and so Its really not too light. The lighting is not adjustable the mouse just switches colors randomly which is fine with me I don't even really care much about the lighting but its cool it goes good with my rgb havit keyboard. Havit seems to make some good stuff for cheap Ive had this mouse for a few weeks and it still work fine It is personally a very comfortable mouse for me so im giving it a 5 other wise I would say this is a 4 star mouse. Ive been through many gaming mouses including 100 doller + mouses and I think I like this one better. There are 4 speed settings I use the 2nd highest one and I don't think many gamers like there dpi much faster than that it gets to fast so overall I am going to give this mouse a good review. And remember people no mouses last forever. And ive bought more expensive mouses that broke quicker.

Ok, so quick story, the company actually sent me 2 mice due to an order mix up. And lucky they did because the first one had scroller wheel issues. BUT the second mouse is PERFECT. I honestly LOVE IT and you can not beat the price. For a mouse of this price, the quality is unbelievable! It comes in super cool packaging (makes you feel fancy AF). And I have never had an issue with response time. Like, it's magical. Keep in mind, I only play Dragon Age Inquisition and Sims 4. But for me, it's lovey. Of course, I do wish I could auto change the colors but it's really not a big deal. Honestly, just buy it, work case scenario you're out 9 bucks, best case you have the most amazing mouse on the planet. So yeah.

This mouse works just as well as my Mad Catz M.M.O.T.E mouse and is 1/5th of the cost. I wish I had found it sooner! I love that it lights up that you can adjust the DPI. I don't like that there is a noticeable jump in said DPI adjustment. It is either too high or too low between the two DPI settings so I can't get it exactly how I'd like. There is an uneven distribution of weight in the mouse.has a bit of weight to it towards the back end. The back and forward buttons on the side can be pushed easily and I think that they could use a bit more resistance for those buttons. The mouse was easy to set up, just plugged in and it worked instantly, no need for additional software. The cord is braided, but not super stiff to where it isn't flexible. The cord length is perfect too! Since I'm not completely happy with any of the 4 DPI choices, I only use this mouse as an office mouse but for someone on a budget, this would make a great gaming mouse.
