I am thoroughly impressed by this machine. It's a wonderful foundation on which one can upgrade various components as they choose. The i-9 9900k processor can smoothly run and process so much at once and the RTX 2070 can run anything on ultra that I've tested thus far. I also really like the tempered glass display. It is high quality. Don't hesitate to buy this machine. It is a beast for gaming, and an especially great build (on account of the i-9900k) if you are like me and like to stream, record, play, and perform various other tasks simultaneously; this machine doesn't skip a beat. I also like that it boots from totally shut down to windows fully loaded in like 7 seconds. It was also packaged very securely, arriving without a single scratch, dent, or unplugged cable. It also arrived without bloatware which got me gaming much faster. I can't overstate how generally satisfied I am with this investment.

I've only had this computer for a few days, but it's a massive improvement over my 6 year old build it replaced. Everything worked perfectly out of the box, no problems. When I opened up the case to take out the shipping material, I was pleased to see that everything held up very well in transit (despite UPS banging up my box). I usually build my own computers but got this on an Amazon day deal. I figured I'd have to get everything in my build at a considerable discount to match this price - and even then, it wouldn't look as good as this pre-built (I'm terrible with wire management).

I'd like to address a few concerns I've read on here. A lot of people have complained about the generic RAM, and the speed that it runs at - and let me tell you right now, it isn't a problem. While you could upgrade to some 3200 for about $70, it isn't necessary., You'd be getting a very minor performance bump but you'd be generating a lot more heat. Now, if you want to overclock your system, I might not recommend it with this system based on the motherboard (There isn't anything wrong with the Z390 form factor, but I don't know that it's the best for overclocking.) and power supply. If you do want to overclock this system, it's purely to show off. There isn't really anything game-wise that this computer can't run at or above 60 fps on the highest settings. And there isn't anything wrong with the power supply they used either. I read some reviews that said it wasn't big enough, and this simply isn't true (unless you want to attempt overclocking, but again, it isn't the least bit necessary to overclock this system).

While I personally wouldn't buy a computer like this at full price, it is a steal when it is discounted (paid around $1300 with tax on Prime day). The case really is beautiful. My ONLY complaint (and it isn't worth removing a star for) is that the case has one LED light inside that will not turn off when you shut down unless you manually flip the power switch on the psu. This isn't a problem, and I've taken to the habit of flipping the switch off after i shut down at night, but it would be really nice if I could turn that LED off somehow (all the other LED's are very easy to turn on and off).

Oh, and one last note. Contrary to many reviews I've read, the keyboard and mouse I was sent work great. I'll probably end up using my old keyboard and mouse until they die before I start using the new ones, but they are just as good quality-wise if not better than the gaming keyboard and mouse set I've been using for the past 8 years.

I will update this review below if any issues come up after this initial review (posted June 22nd, 2019).

I purchased one of these 9900K systems once I had stressed myself to tears by attempting to repair my old machine with new parts. After spending over $1500 on new components, I had failed to get the machine working with any degree of stability. I lost all confidence I had in myself to be able to fix a PC. I just wanted to play games now--I was finished poking around in PCs.

I did many double-takes when I saw this machine had included the i9-9900K chip AND an RTX2070 (MSI). These components alone are worth $1000! After factoring in prices for the 16GB DDR4 2600 RAM (ADATA), the ASRock Phantom 4-IB (IBuyPower's exclusive version of the Phantom 4), power supply and case, it was definitely clear I'd be saving money by purchasing this pre-built system instead of buying the components to build my own.

Not only would I be saving money, but saving myself from the potentially stressful experience of building it. 3 days after ordering it, my $1599 system arrived well-packed with instructions to get up and running taped to the tempered glass side panel. For most people, all that is required is to remove the foam protection from inside the PC.

Once the machine was hooked up and powered on, the pre-installed Windows 10 Home edition would not boot, giving me some strange error telling me the system powered off unexpectedly and to reboot and try again. I recognized this as a software issue and simply used a USB stick to reinstall Windows 10 Home. Once the OS install was complete, I was delighted to see the system working as expected. Even the Windows 10 license that is built into the machine had activated--everything was good to go.

Looking inside the machine, I see a degree of cable management I simply never had the patience to do. The only really visible cable was the PCI-E 6 pin power connector for the video card. There's not much one can do about that to begin with--so I was extremely impressed with the immaculate looking wiring job. If I had built this PC, I would not have the patience to hide all these cables away out of site--it's just too much work!

Performance-wise, the i9-9900K/RTX 2070 is an extremely potent combination. I own all the latest AAA games, including all the ray-tracing supported titles, and I've yet to find a game that I can't run comfortably with my GSYNC-Compatible monitor (ASUS MG278Q Freesync display). Everything runs on max settings at 1440p. Although frame-rates on these settings could dip as low as 41 FPS--GSYNC ensures my gameplay will be smooth as silk. Even if I didn't have a GSYNC-compatible monitor, I'd consider this level of performance to be high-end.

One thing that bothered me with this system was the RAM speed. 2600 mhz RAM is very slow compared to the latest offerings. Since I have so many PC components laying around, I took a pair of Corsair 8GB DDR4 3466mhz CL15 sticks and replaced the included ADATA modules. The performance improvement was notable--and I do consider this the weakest part of this pre-built system.

The design behind the Z370 chipset and i9-9900K CPU is to allow the CPU to overclock itself automatically based on core voltages. This is to say this machine's CPU is overclocked by default (which is again, by Intel's design.) This doesn't stop me from increasing the power limit of the CPU, allowing the CPU to overclock itself even higher. My system overclocks to 5.1ghz under load with the included IBuyPower AIO cooler (which I find is better performing than the Corsair H60 AIO.)

I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, and I'd definitely buy from IBuyPower again. I feel as if I saved money by having someone else do all of the tedious work of wiring up the components (the exact reason is likely attributed to System Integrator's (IBuyPower) supply cost and relatively small profit margin.) I can't speak for technical support or warranty, as I have not needed it yet.

I might have given this machine 4 stars for not being able to boot a working operating system out of the box, as I've seen many people complain about this calling the machine "dead on arrival." I have not investigated what causes this, but the fix is easy enough for anybody who's ever installed Windows before--so I give this machine 5 out of 5 stars, because this is the best value in gaming performance I've ever seen.

So far its been a good gaming pc with great performance as advertised. Key things I discovered in my 1st week, Motherboard is a scaled down Asrock z370 pro4 missing a m.2 and pci-e port. and you can only use updates from IB not Asrock. The components I have are all major brands WDC, Thermalake and Gigabyte. the memory is from aspacer. the mouse and keyboard work, thats about it. But its still a good PC just wanted to let you know the components included. update 5/11/19 So far I have updated the mobo to a gigabyte master z390, added corsair vengeance memory, added a wd black m.2, added more fans to the case, logitech g900 series mouse and keyboard.

I am very impressed with the quality of the unit, the speed and how fluid the graphics are. It's a wonderful gaming PC. The only issue I had upon boot up I couldn't get passed the Windows install. Thankfully tech support was still open and after a short 4 minute wait, my call was answered and received great instructions. I was up and running in short order. The only thing I don't like is the very cheesy keyboard that comes with the system but that is easily fixed.

Got the package, unpacked it, pulled out some stuffing and plugged it right in. BOOM, I got it up and running.

First thing I did was install Destiny 2, Fallout 76, Doom, Assassins Creed Origins, and Farcry 5. One by one, I tested each game to see the difference. First thing I noticed - games loaded almost instantly! (Maybe 1-2 minutes tops!) Not to mention, the graphics defaulted to High/Ultra. Everything looked super smooth on my end. My girlfriend's computer still struggled with loading Fallout 76, often taking 5-10 minutes to get started. Huge difference.

So why did I say 99.9%? Unfortunately, the 1 of the fans wasn't spinning. It didn't affect anything yet, but it could cause some additional overheating. I reached out to support and their support team asked me to trace the wiring to see if something must have fell out. It did! I re-attached a wire, and the fan was up and running again. Easy peasy!

Take out foam from middle. Plug in, turn on. Done. :)

needed for school 3D class, didn’t want to build one Bc I don’t have time in the middle of the semester. I would’ve if price was in its favor to build my own. I have before. Anyway got this and if the components have long shelf life’s I will love it. It’s flying thru Maya renders and that’s just what I bought it for :)

The keyboard looks cheap but feels great and so does the mouse. I thought I would replace those when I saw them but they fit like a comfy couch and I like them now even though they aren’t wireless.

Everything was ready to go. I attached the antennas for the wifi and it connected seamlessly. I registered my product and am getting 10 bucks back :) not a big thing but hey still it’s something :)

Hope to use with cinema4d and I hope the 2070 8gig rtx gpu keeps doing what it’s doing now, flying thru rendering in Maya. If so, I will be one happy camper. 5 USB ports I saw. HDMI graphics card. 3 graphic ports for 3 monitors :) and I love it so far :)

I will update if anything goes wrong.

iBuypower has a new fan. Me. Seriously one if the best if not the best built systems I've ever purchased. I've only owned it for a few days but this thing is a beast! Easy to add peripherals, plenty of room to expand, great look, super quite, and packs a punch! I haven't fully tested things out but it runs the few games I've tried like Fortnite on full details without even pushing the system. I'll happily buy one if these again as long as it has staying power.

Now with that being said, mine came with all of the parts I was expecting. Several reviews seem to be for a different model than what I ordered, but mine came with exactly what I wanted and expected. Great thing for a pre-built system.

If I need to add a con of any kind, it would be the keyboard that came with it, but even that is a personal preference... the keyboard is actually a really nice one, but I can't stand international keyboard layouts... (I like my 'enter' key to be the rectangle, not the upside down 'L' shape...) If anything changes I'll update this review.

1. I purchased this version: i7 9700K | RTX 2070 8GB
2. I purchased the PC on 07/07/2019. The PC I purchased is not exactly reflective of the images shown on the Amazon website, but it is very similar to the images displayed on the website.
3. I do not have a rating for tech support. I will update my review once I contact them.
4. I did not find my dislikes major enough to rate the PC at below 5 stars, but I included them because it could be enough for some to not want to purchase the PC.

1. No Disc Drive (Most iBuyPower PCs no longer include a disc drive)
2. The interior lighting around the logo and fans stays bright green when the PC is running whether you turn the lighting on/off. There are two LED strips that run at the top and bottom of the PC that you can change the color and turn on/off. But, for some reason, I have not been able to figure out how to change the bright green lighting off or to a different color. I will update review once I contact tech support about this issue.
3. The keyboard and mouse cords were too short in my opinion. I believe that each are about 3 feet long. I purchased usb extenders to connect the keyboard and mouse to the PC. This issue may not effect you depending on how your set-up will be.

1. The version I purchased has 3 large fans inside and the PC is fairly quiet for having 3 giant fans running inside it.
2. The PC is fast with shutting down and restarting.
3. The PC runs games effectively and loading times in games are significantly reduced.
4. When the PC is shut down the logo still lights up in unique LED colors.
5. The tempered glass panel on the PC is easy to remove and place back onto the PC.
6. I enjoy the keyboard. It feels well made. The logo lights up red on the keyboard.
7. There is an LED strip around the mouse that lights up with different LED colors and also feels well made. The logo lights up red on the mouse.
8. Importing Pictures and Videos is lightning fast.

Full disclosure, I am writing this review for the free gift card offered by iBUYPOWER.. with that said I have had a very positive experience so far.

I specifically purchased the iBUYPOWER Pro Gaming PC Computer Desktop Intel i7-9700k 8-Core 3.6 GHz, Geforce RTX 2070 8GB, 16GB DDR4, 1TB HDD, 240GB SSD, Z370, Liquid Cooling, WiFi Ready, Windows 10, VR Ready (Trace 9230, Black) - the $1,500 rig on July 31, 2019.

This rig replaced my 2 year old CybertronPC Rhodium R9-X8 Gaming Desktop - AMD FX-8300 3.3GHz Octa-Core, 16GB DDR3 Memory, Radeon RX 580, 240GB SSD, 1TB HDD, DVDRW, Windows 10 Home 64-Bit, which I gave to my 14 yo son (he's loving it, first gaming rig ever).

Anyway, after connecting my peripherals, I booted-up. It was a quick, painless process... I actually swapped out the 1 TB HDD and replaced it with my old 2 TB HDD. No issues. I checked System Info to confirm I got what I paid for... all good. The on-board WiFi connected effortlessly with my wireless router. Speeds clocked by Ookla confirmed (pic) I was optimally connected. Much faster speeds then my old system.

I bought this computer with gaming in mind.. I've been gaming 40+ years... from Pong to consoles to PCs. So the first game I played on this rig was... wait for it... Starcraft II... lol... I'm a nostalgic kind of guy. Anyway, it was a warm up, my old computer ran it fine...

Anyway, next up was Overwatch, this game is not really overly taxing on up to date systems.. I was able to run it on Ultra Settings getting roughly 70 FPS. My old rig could do it... but it sounded like an out of shape old man after running a 100 yd dash at full tilt... not good, I kept my old rig settings lower. I can still hear that computer wheezing in my son's room two floors up from my man cave.

I haven't had a chance to play GWII, and I'm in beta for Camelot Unchained, but my thinking is that this computer will not break a sweat with any game I choose to play.

SO far I am extremely happy with my purchase. If anything changes I'll let you know...

-Satisfies Gaming needs (as expected, I paid a premium)
-Extremely Quiet
-EZ set up

-No backlight on the keyboard (c'mon, I paid $1500 for a computer, and I can't get a backlit keyboard.. boo.. Maybe I'll get a new keyboard with the gift card)
-No CD drive, or anyplace to install one (meh, I have disc for Office 10, I would have liked to install on the computer, that's all I really needed it for)
